UD Almería left-back Sergio Akieme Rodríguez will join French Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims after the agreement reached by both clubs and the footballer, who puts an end to a brilliant footballing career as a Rojiblanco. In fact, the Madrid-born player arrived at UD Almeria in the 2020/21 season as a loanee from FC Barcelona, to be signed permanently in the following season until June 2025.
Sergio Akieme has spent three-and-a-half seasons defending the UD Almería crest, being a key player throughout this time. The 26-year-old has played a total 120 games in red and white stripes, registering 6 goals and providing his team-mates with 6 well-timed assists.
