Akieme and Juan Villar red-carded while some players are expected to make comebacks

Ramazani continues to do individual ball work. Arnau and Dyego Sousa should have no problem being available for selection again

Left-back Sergio Akieme and striker Juan Villar will sit out next Monday’s fixture as both of them were shown straight red cards last Sunday in Huesca. On the contrary, UD Almeria hope to recover players who were absent at El Alcoraz Stadium; Ramazani, who did not play against Girona FC either, continues to make positive progress in his recovery from his knee pain and he did individual ball work this Monday morning.

Arnau Puigmal and Diego Sousa did not make it to the team roster against SD Huesca in the last minute; the first of them sprained his ankle when stepping on a lawn sprinkler at the Anexo training base, while the second felt some discomfort during the last training session carried out a few hours before travelling to the Spanish region of Aragon. Both could be up for grabs ahead of the next game.

This Monday, the team players have worked out in the gym on a day in which the players have been split up into groups. Those starters and subs who played the most minutes in Huesca performed an active recovery session, some others trained more intensely and another group worked out at the gym.

UD Almería trained at the Anexo training ground as soon as they arrived from Huesca (12 noon). Tuesday and Wednesday will be days off because the week is long until the next encounter. The squad return to training at the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos on Thursday.
