His name…Aitor Buñuel, a young 22-year-old right-back with wide experience since he has played more than fifty games between the top-flight and Second-tier in Spanish football. He arrives on a free transfer on a two-year deal after having played for Racing de Santander last season.
Aitor Buñuel Redrado was born on 10th February, 1998 in the town of Tafalla (Navarra) and trained in the lower ranks for Osasuna promoting to the first-team eventually. In 2015, at the age of 17, he made his debut with the first ‘Rojilla’ formation and during the 2015/16 campaign he contributed to the promotion to Primera, in which he played for his hometown club.
The defender played for Racing de Santander the last two seasons. The new Almería footballer’s winning goal sealed the Cantabrians’ promotion to the second-tier while he played twenty-nine games in the previous year in LaLiga SmartBank. Almeria have added this highly-rated Spain Under-17-Under21 international.
Aitor Buñuel is a skilled left and right full-back in spite of his young age and he is also characterised by being a fast and very competitive player, who is good at winning duels.
