Adriana arrives at Almería Women’s midfield

The Almería-born footballer participated in the trial day and defines herself as a player who can bring creativity to the game

UD Almería Women have strengthened the midfield with the addition of Adriana, a player who participated in the trial day ran in the summer. The footballer, who is from Gádor (Almería), occupies the position of the central midfielder and last season she was a Esteponense squad member, where she played a great role in every way, including a great scoring ability of 18 goals in 25 games.

Adriana Díaz was about to become one more Rojiblanca in the first year of creation of the UD Almeria women's side. However, she left her hometown because of work. The midfielder explained to the Club's official media: ‘My goal when I returned to Almería was to play here. I told my team-mates from last year 'I have to play well and train because I want to join UD Almería.’

During these campaigns, the new member of the Indálicas dressing room has continued to play football with the Sanluqueño, first, and more recently in the above-mentioned Esteponense. This summer, she participated in the trial day organised by Almería Women, getting a place in the squad for the new season in the Primera Nacional Women's Division.

Adriana defines herself as a player who brings ‘creativity to the midfield’ and who likes ‘to play the final pass and move the team forward.’ As she explained, she already knew some of her team-mates from the training sessions of the first year in which she was close to becoming a Rojiblanca, but now, after signing for Almeria Women, she was ‘happy to finally be in the team.’
