Awaiting return of some players

UD Almería complete a recovery session following their impressive win in Mallorca. On Wednesday, the team will begin preparations for the visit of Burgos CF, hoping to welcome back several first-team players

UD Almería completed a recovery training session on Monday, with those who did not play in Mallorca or who came on as substitutes, undertaking a more intensive work-out. The Rojiblancos have therefore begun work ahead of a week that will end on Saturday at 4:15pm (Spanish Time) when they face Burgos CF, another side currently occupying a place in the upper part of the standings.

The starting XI in Mallorca remained inside the gym, while the rest of the squad trained at the Anexo base joined by UD Almería 'B' youngsters Tomasević, Popović and Kassoum Koné. As a reminder, the latter two travelled to the Balearic island due to the absences in the first-team squad.

Pulido, who is suffering from gastroenteritis, remained inside the Stadium. Gui Guedes and Rodrigo Ely continue with their respective recovery programmes, with the Portuguese midfielder completing individual outdoor work away from the group. Meanwhile, Dzôdić, Cipenga and Quim Junyent are currently away on international duty with Serbia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Spain U20 respectively.

Following a day off on Tuesday, UD Almería will return to training on Wednesday to focus on preparations for the match against Burgos CF. The team are hoping to welcome back several players from that day onwards. Regardless of the progress made by the injured players, Cipenga and Quim Junyent will return to first-team duties, while Dzôdić will remain with the Serbia senior national team for their Nations League commitments.
