5-1: UD Almería Women succumb to harsh defeat against unstoppable Betis B Women
The Verdiblancas dominated from the get go, leaving the Rojiblancas without the ability to react. Fátima scored from 12 yards inside 82 minutes
UD Almería Women were dominated at all times by Real Betis 'B' Women who demonstrated their superiority from the get go. At the end of the first half, they managed to win by three goals difference and in the second, they extended their lead to five. Fátima, from a penalty, netted the goal inside 82 minutes.
From the beginning, the Verdiblancas imposed their pace of play, dominating possession and putting pressure on the opposing half. This game plan paid off when, a few minutes later, they managed to open the scoring through Marina's goal.
Despite the disadvantage, the UD Almería players tried to react, but they found themselves against a solid home defence. Real Betis 'B' Women continued to show great efficiency in the offensive transition, which led to the 3-0 lead at the end of the first half.
With an unfavorable score at half-time, UD Almería Women sought to adjust their strategy to stop the advance of the Béticas, however, the Verdiblancas maintained their intensity, further expanding their advantage. Despite the difficult situation, the UD Almería Women girls did not give up and managed to peg one back through Fátima.
