UD Almería Women extend winning ways as they clinched a 5-star victory over Arenas de Armilla (5-0). Pedro López's girls team are the third top scoring team in the tier with 18 goals. This has been the fourth game without losing.
The UD Almería girls team are now on fire as they have an eye for goal after struggling to find the back of the net in the guest weeks of the competition.
UD Almería Women started flying out of the traps since in the 8th minute, Marina was in charge of opening the scoring after a rebound from the rival goalie. The team took advantage of the lead to keep up the pace of the match and in this context, Jessi, who regained a starting spot after being away with the beach soccer team, executed a solo counter-attack that she finished perfectly to double their lead (2-0).
The game went into half-time with one more goal recorded on the scoreboard, this time courtesy of U19 international Carla.

The match restart saw changes to the Granada-based outfit, but they were not enough to stop the UD Almería Women skipper, who earned her name into the scoresheet again by shooting from the wing. The Indálicas continued to take the reins until the final whistle, giving the visitors no options.
UD Almería Women riding a four-week unbeaten run, now have 10 points sitting 8th. Next week, they visit Real Murcia with the mentality of extending the positive streak.
