UD Almería 'B' are back to winning ways after thrashing UD Ciudad de Torredonjimeno 4-0 in a match in which a solid defence and effectiveness in attack made the difference. Joan opened the scoring with a scorcher from a free-kick taken in the 22nd minute, extended the lead in the 50th minute and between Rachad and Abel, they were in charge of putting the game to bed.
The first stages of the match were somewhat irregular on the part of both teams, with many inaccuracies in the passes and lacking attacking threats, however, Joan was in charge of netting a stunner from a free-kick that found the corner of the visitors goal net. From then on, it was the youthful Rojiblancos who bossed the game.
In the second half, five minutes into the game, Joan took advantage of a loose ball inside the rivals area and managed to beat Samu Urbano and thus achieving his double and leaving a very favourable result for the hosts.
UD Ciudad de Torredonjimeno we're not up to give up and continued looking for the goal to narrow the gap, but out of the blue UD Almería 'B' slotted home the third, Rachad, who went all out for it, finally found it in the 72nd minute to put the encounter to bed.
With the guests focused squarely on the attack, taking advantage of a good counter-attack, Abel fired home the final 4-0. A result that helps the Indálicos to remain comfortably in the play-off zone.
