4-0: UD Almería B thrash CD Rincón
The UDA Rojiblancos dominated from the get go and with this victory they continue to maintain a play-off spot. Marsu, Luis Lara, Cantón and Valen were the scorers of the match
UD Almería 'B' go back to winning ways after their setback against UD Maracena and managed to maintain the play-off spot after a great match in which they dominated their rivals from the get go. Two first-goal courtesy of Marsu and Luis Lara, and two more netted in the second period at the hands of Cantón and Valen earned them three home points.
The UD Almería youth team looked on it from the start by creating good plays and with defensive strength. They were aware of the importance of this match and they came out to give it their all. They were at their very best in the opening minutes, but little by little that initial tension was diluted and CD Rincón had some goal-scoring opportunities, although without much danger.
Alberto Lasarte's boys got themselves back into the game and Marsu, in the 20th minute, put the youthful Indálicos ahead with a great goal that went over the goalkeeper. The visitors looked for a quick reaction and began to send warning, however, they neglected the defence a lot and in a great counter-attack, led by Hugo Neves, the Almeriensistas made it 2-0, Luis Lara found the back of the net after taking advantage of the goalkeeper's rebound at the first Aaron's shot.
In the second half, the guests were down to 10 men shortly after the start after the sending-off of their goalkeeper, so their head coach's entire comeback plan was neutralised at the moment and even more so when in the 64th minute, Pintos also was going to receive his marching orders for two yellow cards. This mismatch, and having two more players, was taken advantage of by UD Almería 'B' who, with two more goals, one from Cantón inside 67 minutes and another from Valen in the 72nd minute sealed the final 4-0 comprehensive victory and thus remaining in play-off positions in a moment where none of those at the top are letting up.
