3-2: UD Almería Women did not deserve to lose away to CF Pozuelo Women

The Rojiblancas were on the front foot 1-2 in the second half, but an own goal gave their Madrid-based rivals hope

UD Almería Women came back home empty-handed from their trip to the CF Pozuelo Women pitch, although the girls deserved a draw at least. There were some spells in which the Rojiblancas were definitely unlucky. It was a a highly competitive battle with both teams exchanging chances.

Half-time CF Pozuelo Women 1-1 UD Almería Women

The first half ended all square (1-1) and 14 minutes after the restart, Jessi earned her name onto the scoresheet (1-2). The UD Almeria girls team were solid, but 3 minutes later, Conchita put the ball into the back of her own net unluckily, and immediately after the own goal, the Madrid-based team made it 3-2.

Despite the blow, the Almerienses went the extra mile to grab an equaliser, but the scoreboard would no longer record more goals. Next time lucky.
