UD Almería 'B' returned to winning ways, after a three-game winless run, by beating Atlético Melilla away from home (2-4). The UD Almería Academy prospects showed themselves commanding in the first half with a result of 1-3 that concluded in the second period by scoring one more goal to move up the fifth position that gives access to the play-offs (2-4).

In the first half, UD Almería 'B' looked on It from the off with very clear ideas of the game plan formulated by head coach Alberto Lasarte and began to fire warnings shots very soon. With 11 minutes on the clock, Loren slotted the Rojiblancos in front and in the 19th minute, Aarón doubled their lead (0-2). Atlético Melilla reacted and Mohamed, in the 23rd minute, gave the home team hope, however, reaching the end of the first half, René Pérez made it 1-3. 

The second half started very well for the Melillenses since, inside 47 minutes, as soon as it started, they pulled one back to make it  2-3 through Romero. As a result, Alberto Lasarte's youth side would once again spoiled the adversaries' momentum and, in the 60th minute, Cantón fired home to clinch a 2-4 victory that places them in the play-off zone, temporarily, since 6th-ranked Real Jaén have one game in hand.
