2-3: Great start to season for UD Almería U19s 'A'

First- half goals courtesy of Younes and Rachad (2) seal victory. The rivals were close to levelling it up in the final minutes

UD Almería U19s 'A' beat their first rivals of the season 2-3 in their first game in group IV of the 'Division de Honor Nacional' league at La Virreina. Alberto Lasarte's boys have opened their season with 3 points bagged in a stadium where it is actually really difficult to get points. It was hard for the youthful Rojiblancos to get into the game, as until the 15th minute they were unable to take control of the size of the field, but from then on the under-19s seized opportunities through good plays. With 26 minutes on the clock, a stunning free-kick goal at the hands of Younes was followed up by 34-minute and 36-minute goals, two combination moves triggered Rachad's netting.

The hosts bossed things in the opening minutes of the second half, who with changes in their ranks and a lot of intensity, tried to put the young Rojiblancos in trouble. During the first ten minutes, 'CD 26 de Febrero' were the dominant side, however the chances were quickly fashioned again by the UD Almeria youth side, although without luck for them to end in a goal. In the last minutes of the match, the home team pulled on back to make it 1-3. Then, in stoppage time, a foul from a wide position gave the hosts hope 2-3. There was no time for more and their second goal would be the last play of the game.
