2-1: UD Almería Women’s team complete the year with a new victory against CD Híspalis

The rojiblancas defeated the team from Seville in a match played in Benahadux. Two goals from Paula and Paqui

The UD Almeria Women's team have bagged three more points in the last game of the year completing the first round of the competition. The encounter against the Sevillian team Club Deportivo Híspalis has taken place in the Jerónimo Rodríguez Field in Benahadux, in which Almeria won 2-1.

Since the game kick-off, the UD Almeria Women’s team have dominated the match and this fact has been soon reflected on the scoreboard. In the 18th minute, the player from Galicia, Paula scored the first goal. It did not take long for the second goal, when Mireya assisted Paqui and she managed to pulled the trigger reaching half-time break 2-0.

The game continued exactly the same way in the second half. The UD Almeria Women’s team did not settle for scoring only two goals and insisted on scoring the third. The rojiblanco team created a lot of chances throughout the match, however, they were not able to net another goal. In the 72nd minute, the Híspalis grabbed their first goal at hands of Tamara (2-1), sparking the fans into life, result that lasted until the final whistle.

UD Almería Women’s Team: Ani, Eva, Rocío, Chelo, Mati, Raquel, Ana, Mireya, Paula, Nadia and Paqui. Fatima, Cristina, Esther and Gabriela, also played.

CD Híspalis: Carmen, Patri, Amanda, Mer, Olivia, blonde, Chica, Sara, Samara, Andrea and Aurora. Rocío, Estrella, Serrano and Saira, also played.

Observations: Match corresponding to the 13th matchweek of the League of group IV of the First Women's National Division, played at the Jerónimo Rodríguez Field in Benahadux. The Almeria players jumped onto the field wearing shirts supporting the fight against gender violence. The match was supportive and the 150 spectators who attended it contributed to the ‘No Child with no toys’ campaign.
