2-1: First win of the season in the bag for UD Almería U19 A
The UDA Academy prospects grabbed the three points in their home debut against Tomares UD, who made the match very complicated for them. Fuentes and Isra scored the goals
It was time to knuckle down for another game! UD Almería Under-19s 'A' found themselves on the losing side due to a penalty goal in the 14th minute, however, they soon moved up a gear and, first Fuentes in the 21st minute, and then Isra in the 38th minute, turned around a score that remained unchanged until the final whistle, ans thus grabbing the first 3 points of the season on Matchday 2 competing in Group IV of the Division de Honor tier.
The first half defined a match with plenty of end-to-end activity. Tomares UD went ahead with a penalty goal netted in the first quarter of an hour. It was being a highly competitive match until minute 14 in which the Rojiblanco youth outfit conceded the goal.
From there, the lads of Almería got down to work and began to take control of the meeting and engineered chances. So much so that in less than 10 minutes, Fuentes grabbed the equaliser (1-1). But this was not going to end here, since Zeus Carmona's boys continued to send warnings in the final third and in the 38th minute, Isra broke the deadlock 2-1, to put UD Almería U19 'A' ahead.
In the second half, the Rojiblancos managed to hold on to the result in a bid to earn the first three points of the season against rivals who were difficult to beat.
