2–1: UD Almería U19s 'A' edged out by Real Betis Balompié U19s

The UD Almería’s youth side took the lead but were beaten by the Division de Honor leaders in one of the few matches played over the weekend due to the adverse weather conditions

UD Almería under-19s 'A' were edged out 2–1 by Real Betis Balompié Under-19s in a match played at the Rafael Gordillo training ground on Matchday 21. The lads, affected by several key absences, took the lead through Abraham, but the Betis boys levelled the score from the penalty spot and sealed the victory in the 72nd minute.

Despite the defeat, the young Indálicos remain in a comfortable mid-table position, while Betis U19s move into sole possession of top spot, as their main rivals Granada CF did not play this weekend.

In fact, due to adverse weather conditions, most of the fixtures scheduled for the match week were postponed, 6 in total. Only matches hosted in the province of Seville were given the green light.

All other UD Almería Academy youth teams were inactive over the weekend, either because the RFAF (Andalusian Football Federation) suspended competitions due to the weather or because they had a scheduled bye for this Matchday.
