The defeat marks a 6th consecutive loss for the Academy Rojiblancos, who continue to struggle in the Segunda RFEF standings.
Real Jaén took the lead through Mario Martos inside 41 minutes with a precise strike from the edge of the box, giving the hosts a deserved advantage. Despite controlling possession, Real Jaén's first-half performance lacked clinical edge, and they failed to create further clear-cut chances due to a resolute defensive display from UD Almería 'B'.
After the break, Real Jaén looked to impose themselves further on the game, but it was UD Almería 'B' who began to find their rhythm and create dangerous situations.
