2-1: UD Almería Women put in brave fight against leaders but leave Badajoz empty-handed
The Rojiblancas put themselves in front with a wondergoal courtesy of Paqui, but could not maintain the advantage against Sport Extremadura CD, a team that remain unbeaten in the competition
UD Almería Women faced Sport Extremadura CD in Badajoz in an extremely tough match because the Indálicas were visiting the unbeaten leaders of the competition, who are about to reach the end the first half of the season without losing a match. In fact, except for a draw, everything else has been victorious.
The Rojiblancas, despite being defeated, put in a brave fight. The girls even went ahead in Badajoz very soon in the 6th minute with a long-range wondergoal from Paqui that surprised the goalie, who until that moment had only conceded three goals in the entire competition.
UD Almería Women tried to weaken Sport Extremadura CD's potential with excellent work and giving it their all, but the dominance of the hosts gave rise to the equaliser in the 20th minute. With this score the break was reached.
