2-0: UD Almería Women keep dream alive after derby win
The Rojiblancas comfortably beat UCD La Cañada Atlético to keep the pressure up at the top in the race for promotion
UD Almería Women won their derby over UCD La Cañada Atlético to be able to keep their dream alive in the race for promotion. The Rojiblancas dominated comfortably a match in which Sarita and Jessi's goals sealed victory. After the victory they reached 40 points in the standings, the same as third-placed Cacereño Women 'B'.
Although the two Almeria-based sides went back and forth up the pitch. On the Rojiblancas side, some chances that could have extended their lead were squandered unluckily.
The victory notched up by UD Almería Women let the girls to keep their dream alive sitting fourth with four Matchdays to go on 40 points, which are the same as Cacereño Women 'B', who have one game in hand.
