2-0: Bitter defeat experienced by UD Almería 'B' at CD Torreperogil's pitch
The Academy Rojiblancos were unable to play a good game against rivals who had solid defence and took advantage of the chances they created
UD Almería 'B' lost a game in which they lacked chances. Óscar Fernández's players tried their best to score, however CD Torreperogil, in the 80th minute and later in the 92nd ended up scoring goals that sealed victory. During almost half an hour of the match they did not have clear chances, the home team, aware of all the arrillery of the Rojiblancos youth team, decided to park the bus and stage some counter attacks. In the 30th minute there were two outstanding opportunities for UD Almería 'B'. First, Avelino's fine effort from long range was well taken, but the goalkeeper parried it away. Shortly after, a solo play by Lokosa would be about to find the rivals' net. Those actions would be one of the few opportunities that there would be in the first 45 minutes.
The second part was really similar to the first; CD Torreperogil parking the bus and the boys from Almería aiming to beat the keeper. After the full 90 minutes, big chances began to be engineered. In the 72nd minute, Obón made a save to deny the hosts' attack and on the next play, Lokosa would be the one to create danger with a thumping header, but without the necessary luck for it to end in a goal.
The side that had the most success was CD Torreperogil, who managed to grab the opener, Pekes broke the tie and put the home team on the lead in the 80th minute. When the game went into stoppage time, Javi Quesada closed out the contest with a 92-minute winner leaving Óscar Fernández's team without options, who have experienced their third bitter loss in a row while the rivals managed to score and win for the first time in front of their fans.
