1-4: UD Almería Women make no mistake but neither do their closest rivals

UD Almería Women remain firm in their aspirations to fight for the promotion play-offs and they thrashed Ciudad de Murcia (1-4) away, having to overcome a 0-1 deficit right at the start of the match. The Rojiblancas continue to make no mistake, but neither do their closest rivals. The top two teams in each of the 6 groups in the division are promoted automatically, the third-placed teams play in the play-offs, and so are the two best fourth-placed teams. 

 

UD Almería Women are currently 8 points behind third-placed Betis, and 5 behind fourth-placed Sevilla FC B, their next opponent at home. The Almeria team has a chance of getting this spot, but things have become more complicated at the moment because there are two groups in which the fourth-placed teams have more points than Sevilla, who have 51.
