1-3: UD Almería 'B' lose first return fixture of 2025 against Águilas FC
The UD Almería Academy prospects, who conceded 0-1 very early, could not beat a veteran and experienced team. Alberto Lasarte's side remain in the promotion play-off zone
UD Almería 'B' lost their first return match of 2025 to Águilas FC at home. The Murcianos, who made it 0-3 thanks to their experience in the tier to overcome the youthful Rojiblancos who were never comfortable on the pitch. Head coach Alberto Lasarte stated in the pre-match press conference that in this second half of the season the teams were going to battle it out so his youth side would have to be very active from the start in the encounters.
Against Águilas FC it was not like that and after 6 minutes, UD Almería 'B' were already trailing 0-1, something that was key for the subsequent development of the match. In fact, what the Academy Indálicos did was a desire and a failure against a professional team who knew how to play their tricks, especially bossing the game.
