1–3: UD Almería Women suffer 5th straight defeat

The Rojiblancas surrendered a half-time lead against CD Getafe Women to suffer another consecutive defeat leaving them bottom of the table

UD Almería Women's difficult start to the season continued as they were beaten 3–1 by CD Getafe Women at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium.

The Rojiblancas took the lead in the 15th minute through Sarai and went into the interval ahead after a promising first-half display. The hosts enjoyed the greater share of possession, created the better openings and largely kept the Getafe girls at bay.

The visitors responded strongly after the break, however and Lara quickly became the decisive figure. She levelled it up in the 53rd minute before putting CD Getafe Women ahead 15 minutes later, finishing a counter-attack following a controversial offside decision.

UD Almería Women pushed for an equaliser but were unable to find a way through a disciplined opponents defence. Instead, the visitors put the result beyond doubt in the 85th minute when Natalia made it 3–1.

The defeat leaves UD Almería Women without a point after the opening 5 league fixtures and at the foot of the Group III table.
