1-2: UD Almería 'B' beat Atlético Malagueño to clinch their second victory in a row

The Almerienses managed to win the Andalusian 'B' teams clash and reach the top positions of the table. Avelino and Marciano scored the goals

UD Almería 'B' return to the VIP zone of the table after beating rivals Atlético Malagueño. The match began with a stunning goal from Avelino that put the Almeria team ahead, but the home side reacted and managed to level it up in the first half. In the second period, the youthful Rojiblancos took advantage of Marciano's effectiveness to make it the final 1-2 and clinch their second consecutive victory.

The UDA Academy Rojiblancos came flying out of the traps, applying high pressure and quickly setting up goals; The opening goal for Óscar Fernández's boys was netted in the 6th minute. Avelino unleashed an incredible shot from the edge of the box.

Shortly after the guests' goal, on 16 minutes, the hosts came from a defensive error by UD Almería 'B' that enabled Atlético Malagueño to tie the game. Juanmita would take advantage of that indecision of the defenders to equalise (1-1).

UD Almería 'B' were about to get back in front with a double chance, first, by Marciano and, later, by Gilbert; a very clear opportunity for the lads from Almería who failed to convert, largely due to the host keeper, who made a save at the first shot. After the rebound, Gilbert could not connect well with the ball and his strike went high. The UDA prospects squandered a great chance in the 35th minute with a free-kick from the edge of the area. Avelino would be the one to take it, but his shot hit the crossbar and went wide.

The entire Rojiblancos' attack went through the players Avelino and Sala, who were becoming the owners of that midfield area. Both footballers had a lot of influence on the offensive plays of their team. A few minutes into the second half, Atlético Malaga had a clear-cut chance, but between Alex, who clear right on the goal line, and the post, they managed to disrupt that action. This encouraged the Málaga FC 'B' team, who began to put together some brilliant plays having the visitors defending deep in their field during the first minutes of the second half.

After that goal, time began to wind down and the ones who fashioned the most chances were the hosts who were behind on the scoreboard. With 75 minutes on the clock, the Malaga-based youth team seemed to feel tired and UD Almería 'B' regained more possession of the ball, yet when the match went into injury time, the Blanquiazules piled on the attack to try to equalise, and thus creating uncertainty in UD Almeria 'B's defensive line that denied them.

After the final whistle, UD Almería 'B' took the three points home achieving their second consecutive victory.
