1-2: UD Almería Women hold their own against champions to close out home season

The Rojiblancas put in an invigorated performance against SportExtremadura at home, where the guests welcomed their league title and promotion to the higher-tier Segunda RFEF

UD Almería Women held their own against SportExtremadura on the penultimate Matchday. It was the season's closing match at home at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium. The Rojiblancas lost by a narrow 1-2 to the champions of the competition, who are promoted to the next division. For this reason, the Indálicas welcomed the Badajoz-based team, who have demonstrated great superiority throughout the campaign, although UD Almería Women have been able to make things difficult for them in both the first and second leg matches.

SportExtremadura took an early lead in the 8th minute and, midway through the first half, put the match on track, leading 2-0 at half-time.

The Indálicas fought back and reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 74th minute, and continued to fight until the end to try to score against the champions.
