1-2: At long last, Almeria B pull off a victory after beating Torreperogil

The rojiblancos remain fifth in the standings three points from the play-off positions. Jero saved a penalty

At long last, Almeria B pulled off a victory against Torreperogil in the IX group of the Third Division after four consecutive matchdays failing to win. The UD Almeria B team players are not falling behind their direct rivals, Motril and Real Jaén, even though both teams got three points in their respective meetings. The rojiblancos remain fifth in the standings, three points behind the Motrileños and Jiennenses.

Almeria visited a complicated Torreperogil, who are having a brilliant season and drew with Motril last week. It was not an easy way to stage a comeback against their opponents. However, the Rojiblancos knew how to live up to a practical and effective game in all its facets.

Almeria B were on the lead 0-2 at some point, but between the first and the second goal, Jero managed to saved a penalty that would have changed the score to 1-1, so the goalie’s action was a key factor in winning the game.
