In the first half, Linares Deportivo were clearly superior. The UD Almeria B team could not prevent their adversaries from leading the game from the beginning causing danger, although Jero, with several brilliant saves, prevented the Jiennenses from going ahead on the scoreboard. Despite the fact that the opponents dominated most of the time, the rojiblancos were wise on the pitch. It was not too much trouble for Almeria, even though there was not much attacking pressing. In fact, they knew how to read their adversary’s game. In any case, the match went to half-time after Chendo made it 1-0 to Linares in the 30th minute with a shot from the edge of the box. Almeria B managed to get out of here with a point thanks to Albiar, who netted a goal after 71 minutes. It was the least they deserved.
