1–1: UD Almería 'B' earn valuable away draw with Yeclano Deportivo (1–1)

Marciano’s second-half leveller dents hosts’ survival hopes in fourth-tier Segunda RFEF clash

UD Almería 'B' picked up a point on the road against Yeclano Deportivo in the antepenultimate fixture of the Segunda RFEF Group IV campaign. While the result carries little significance for the already relegated visitors, it proves a major setback for the Murcia-based side, whose survival hopes have taken a significant hit after failing to bagging all 3 points.

The hosts came out with intent to take early control of the match, but José María Salmerón’s side remained well organised defensively and showed discipline throughout, while still posing a threat going forward. Iker Burgos had one of the clearest chances for UD Almería 'B' late in the first half.

Yeclano Deportivo struck shortly after the restart, opening the scoring just 2 minutes into the second half. Despite attempts to extend their lead, the home side could not put the game to bed and the youthful Rojiblancos continued to compete. Their persistence paid off in the 72nd minute when Marciano found the leveller.

The scoreline remained unchanged at 1–1 despite late pressure from the hosts, who were unable to find a winner.

UD Almería 'B', now playing a decisive role in the closing stages of the season, will next host Minera before travelling to face FC Águilas, both teams currently fighting for promotion.
