1-1: UD Almería Women salvage point thanks to last-gasp equaliser

The Rojiblancas secured a share of the spoils with Cádiz CF Women in injury time a few minutes after conceding 0-1. It was a highly competitive home match with plenty of end-to-end activity. The play-offs places are now a little further away

UD Almería Women secured a share of the points with Cádiz CF Women at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium thanks to a last-gasp equaliser. The Indálicas, who had won their previous 3 home games, were unable to maintain their strength at home on this occasion, although the point was achieved in injury time, so it must be valued.

The fact that the teams at the top have not lost this weekend makes the promotion play-offs a little further away for the Rojiblancas. The team are 6th in the standings at the moment. The top two, who are highlighted, move up automatically. The third are fighting for promotion, but is 11 points away, where Granada CF Women 'B' find themselves and the fourth, who would enter a possible play-off, are 7 points away. This position is occupied by Sevilla FC Women 'B'. Murcia-based side Alhama Women 'B' sit 5th with a 6-point gap.

As for the match, it was a tense affair with plenty of end-to-end activity. Cádiz CF Women put themselves in front in the 85th minute, so everything seemed that the match would end with the result of 0-1, but their determination and grit meant that Marta Villalba scored the leveller from the bench
