UD Almería 'B' took another valuable share of the spoils with Real Madrid C (1-1) thanks to Rachad's brilliant opening goal grabbed in the 33rd minute. The UDA Academy Indálicos are having a great pre-season campaign as they have not been defeated yet. Alberto Lasarte's youth outfit have clinched two victories and three draws, the latest against tough rivals from Madrid, in the five friendly games played this summer.
As expected, it was a high-intensity match, both newly built youth sides exchanged chances showing their intelligence, physical fitness, and the proper mindset in this off-season preparations. Rachad would be the first starter to earn his name onto the scoresheet inside 33 minutes. The lads from Almería were ahead after the first half hour and the good plays paid off. One could have become two. Following the opening goal, an effort by Keven was blocked by the Madrid 'C' goalie who did well to parry.
Over the second period, the goal opportunities kept happening. As the half ticked on, both outfits really began to find their rhythm. The youthful Rojiblancos were looking to double their lead while the Madrileños were desperate to grab an equaliser. Finally, it would be Real Madrid 'C' who managed to slot home in the 79th minute through Quique's goal, which tied the game.
With this 1-1 result, the end of the fifth pre-season friendly was reached at the Escribano Castilla stadium located in Motril.
