1-0: UD Almería 'B' clinch second back-to-back victory to move up one position

The UD Almería Academy prospects beat Villanovense at home to move up to 4th place in the standings. The lads are only 3 points behind leaders UCAM Murcia. Josema, in the second half, scored the match-winning goal

UD Almería 'B' have taken a huge step in the Group IV table following a 1-0 home victory over Villanovense, the second in a row after winning on the previous Matchday away to Linense. It is also their first triumph of the year on home soil that has fired them up to 4th in the standings. On top of that, the lads  continue to cut the gap with leaders UCAM Murcia, who are only 3 points away. Now the top five are in a promotion tussle.

The battle was not easy at all. In fact it was a trap match because although Villanovense are in the relegation zone, their results as visitors forced them to be on alert. As it was because the Extremadura outfit made things very complicated for the youthful Rojiblancos, who had to work hard and suffer to grab the three points.

The visitors set up a defensive system that was difficult to overcome, but they did not speculate because they also looked to stun to try to get out of the drop zone of the table. UDA 'B' had to be patient and wait for their moment to take the lead, which happened in the 62nd minute through Josema, although not everything was decided with that opener and they had to wait until the final whistle to breathe easy.
