1-0 Injury-time goal separates the sides in Valladolid

Neither top-tier team managed to find a breakthrough, but UD Almeria unfortunately dropped a point within 93 minutes

UD Almería started the match intensely, but little by little Real Valladolid CF showed their attacking skills as goalie Fernando denied a header that hit the crossbar. From then on neither side would become the dominant side of the match, however the chances of both would be fashioned. Nobody was able to change the 0-0 on the scoreboard in the 90 minute, but they were able to do so in injury-time with Weissman's goal that gave Real Valladolid CF the victory.


Many changes in the UD Almeria Starting XI as the Rojiblancos returned to the 4-3-3 formation, with Fernando in goal, defence formed by Akieme, Babic, Ely and Pozo. De la Hoz would come on for Eguaras with Samú Costa and Robertone while Sousa and Baptistao would be up front accompanying Ramazani. The team were looking for a brave and offensive system through those subs.


The official game began without clear ideas for either team, both were not capable of bossing the ball. After those opening minutes of intensity and scoring it would be Real Valladolid CF who took a step forward with a clear chance from Sergi Guardiola; In the 33rd minute, the Valladolid-striker hit the crossbar after a cross from peer Óscar Plano, a few minutes later, in the 39th minte, Sergi Guardiola would warn again with a goal, although it would be chalked off for offside. UD Almería had the ability to suffer in those final minutes of the game in which Real Valladolid CF were the ones who were looking for the goal with more intensity than the Rojiblancos.


The second half started similarly to the opening 45 minutes, both outfits trying to score the opener, albeit without the necessary fortune to do so.
