1-0: UD Almería U19 'A' get back to winning ways
The UDA Academy products beat CD Vázquez Cultural through Rober's late winner
UD Almería U19 'A' beat CD Vázquez Cultural to remain third in the standings, although they had few chances to reach the first place because both Real Betis and Sevilla FC Under-19s would have to lose their games.
UD Almería U19s 'A' started the game taking the initiative. Despite they had possession of the ball, it was very difficult for them to reach the box easily, although the lads had some opportunities to find the net. CD Vázquez Cultural put the young UD Almería goalkeeper in trouble in half of the first period. Juan Carlos squandered clear dangerous shots assisted by Dioni. It was one of the few dangerous plays that the Málagueños created.
In the second half, the youthful Rojiblancos continued as in the opening minutes, bossing the ball. Lasarte's boys attacked and took advantage of the spaces that the visitors left. In spite of the dominance of the home team, CD Vázquez Cultural gave a scare with a shot to the post at the feet of Cazorla. Minutes later, UD Almería U19s 'A' reacted with a Marcos Peña's header that crashed into the crossbar. Rober's goal was netted on 82 minutes.
The Rojiblanco attacker took advantage of a dead ball situation on the penalty spot to boot a shot into the back of Alberto's goal.
