1-0: Brilliant and well-deserved victory for UD Almería 'B' against Xerez CD

The UD Almería 'B' products, who had lost their two previous matches at home, get back to winning ways on the Anexo pitch

UD Almería 'B' clinched a brilliant and well-deserved victory against an experienced Xerez CD at home, where the lads had 'unfinished business.' In fact, despite remaining undefeated as visitors, they had lost their two previous home matches. They have taken a giant step in their aspirations to remain in a comfortable position, very close to the promotion play-offs, and further away (4 points) above the relegation places.

The UDA prospects stood up to one of the strongest contenders to move up a tier. The team led by Alberto Lasarte were very solid and effective in defence, knew how to control the game against opponents who were never comfortable on the pitch and also showed a powerful attacking display. Perovic's goal, in the 30th minute, would be enough, although in the second half, in the face of the opponents' attacks, UD Almería 'B', with the changes made, were close to extending their lead.
