The UDA Academy prospects were beaten by bottom-team Cádiz CF Mirandilla. The youthful Rojiblancos remain in promotion play-off positions
UD Almería 'B' suffered the first defeat of the season as guests as they were beaten by Cádiz CF Mirandilla, who scored an early opener without any reaction from UD Almería 'B'. Despite being the second match lost in a row, the team led by Alberto Lasarte are still in the promotion play-off position. They sit fourth in the standings with one game left to reach the halfway point of the league.
With the run of results that the Indálicos have had, not scoring at the Cádiz CF sports complex has been quite a surprise. In fact, the first away defeat occurred in the last trip of the first half of the campaign, after seven unbeaten games away from home and against the bottom team.
Cádiz CF Mirandilla took the lead early in the 15th minute and although the Rojiblancos tried to come back from behind, they did not have enough reaction capacity, in addition to struggling when it came to completing their offensive plays. Next Sunday, on the Anexo pitch, the last match of the first half and 2024 for UD Almería 'B' that are having a brilliant season.
