UD Almería Women run riot with stunning 0-4 derby win over CFF Mvrgi

The Rojiblancas clinch dominant victory in El Ejido city, sealing the game by half-time

UD Almería Women delivered a commanding 0-4 victory over CFF Mvrgi on Matchday 2, securing all 3 points in a dominant display at the Santo Domingo Stadium Anexo in El Ejido city. The game, the first Almería derby of the 2025/26 season, was effectively decided by half-time as the Rojiblancas went 0-4 up.

The match saw Paqui Campoy shine with a brilliant brace, while Jessi added a goal and an own goal from FCC Mvrgi completed the scoreline. The early goals ensured there was no way back for the El Ejido side, who struggled to contain their opponents' attacking prowess.

This resounding victory highlighted UD Almería Women’s growing form and their promotion aspirations. After a 1-1 draw with Arenas de Armilla in their opener, a team also vying for the top spots, the Indálicas showed their credentials in this local derby against a team fresh off an away win.

Looking ahead, UD Almería Women will face league pacesetters CD Atlético Women Ben-Namiel next, with both sides aiming for promotion to the Segunda RFEF.
