0-2: UD Almería 'B' cannot beat Atlético Malagueño as they suffer 2nd defeat of season

It was an evenly-matched game played with high intensity and rhythm, yet the Málaga CF 'B' team went one step further in the second half and won the game courtesy of Antoñito's brace

UD Almería 'B' could not win the match in which they looked uncomfortable from the opening minutes. The Academy Rojiblancos started the match very close together in defence, playing a low block and the Málaga CF 'B' team took advantage of this to have the clearest opportunities in the first half. In the second period, the visitors, with two goals scored in the 71st and 87th minutes, put the game to bed.

Alberto Lasarte's youth team started the game with very clear ideas, defending well and trying to play the ball out of the defence  looking for the most offensive players, however, Atlético Malagueño equalised in no time and began to create scoring chances. It was a very evenly-matched first half, but it is true that the guests stepped up a gear in the dangerous approaches and if it were not for keeper Bruno Iribarne, the first half would have ended with an advantage for the Malacitanos, however, the Almeria goalkeeper was very confident between the sticks, as is customary, and repelled all opportunities with great saves.

In the second half, the visitor appeared to be more focused on making their presence felt in the final third and with more control of the ball. The clearest chances were for the guests who were very effective defending and in attack. In the 71st and 87th minutes, Antoñito would be in charge of firing home the goals that earned them the victory while UD Almería 'B' suffered their second defeat of the season against a direct rivals but continue to maintain 5th place in play-off positions.
