0-2: Second back-to-back victory for UD Almería Women

UD Almería Women played a great game from start to finish and managed to earn their second back-to-back victory that moves them, almost definitively, out of the relegation zone. The UD Almería girls bossed the game from the first minute and made it very difficult for the home side who could do little to stop the Almeriensistas who opened the scoring in the 11th minute thanks to Paqui's penalty goal.
Later, in the 69th minute, Carla doubled their lead.
UD Almería Women started the first half by putting in an outstanding display, showing fluidity in their game, a solid defence and effectiveness in the final third. This performance materialised with the opener, which was scored in the 11th minute from 12 yards thanks to Paqui's penalty goal. From this 0-1, the hosts began to project themselves in attack on the Rojiblancas goal, but they found themselves, again and again, with an outstanding performance by UD Almería keeper Carmen, who was in charge of blocking all their attempts.
Mislata CF went on the attack in their search to equalise. In the second half, the UDA girls came out onto the pitch in the same way, and in the 56th minute Carla had a great chance to make it 0-2, however, the host goalie managed to deflect her shot into a corner. Nonetheless, the Indálicas continued to press and look for the second goal that would give them peace of mind and in the 69th minute Carla achieved it by taking advantage of a cross from Aitana that left her in a one-on-one situation that managed to beat the goalie...and the third could have been netted before the end of the match, but the goalkeeper's success prevented the 0-3 that María was looking for.
Thanks to this second consecutive victory, UD Almeria Women move away from the relegation zone.
