0-2: UD Almería Women clinch another away victory on the trot

UD Almería Women achieved a new away victory, the fifth of the current season and the second on the trot after the one won the previous weekend in Jaén. This time, the UDA girls beat Atlético Ben-Namiel 0-2. 

 

The Indálicas continue to dream of reaching the promotion play-offs, yet their rivals are not giving in either and the point-gap remains the same, meaning that as the season progresses the possibilities decrease. 

 

The victory in Málaga is absolutely praiseworthy given the fact that Atlético Ben-Namiel, despite being lower in the standings, were solid on home turf. The encounter was not easy at all and a lot of graft had to be put in. In fact, the break ended in a goalless stalemate after an evenly-matched game over the first half, although with better chances for UD Almería Women. 

 

The same thing happened after the game restart, although with greater effectiveness from UD Almeria Women, who in two minutes sealed the win with goals courtesy from Jacqueline and Jessi.
