0-2: UD Almería B notch up resolute victory to get into play-offs
The Academy products continue to boost their good vibes this season by defeating Huétor Tájar as they secured their first win away from home
UD Almería 'B' have notched up their first victory away from home and remain undefeated outside the Anexo pitch. The young Rojiblancos have only suffered one defeat and it was at home against Juventud de Torremolinos CF, the rest of results have been draws and victories. This last triumph was secured by Hugo Neves' opener in the 37th minute and Abel's penalty goal. Two to the good on the road.
The first half began with both sides exchanging chances, but little by little, the encounter was bossed by the Indálicos. UD Almería 'B's attacking players started to be creative in the final third with Hugo Neves and Valen playing vital roles until the well-deserved reward came in the 37th minute courtesy of Hugo Neves.
Then, in the second half, Huétor Tájar worried the guests with several scoring opportunities, but if something defines this UD Almería 'B' squad it is that they work well in all their lines and did not allow hosts to concede a goal. When the game reached the end, in the 90'+5 minute, the Indálicos sealed victory with a penalty goal scored by Abel from 12 yards. Get in there!
