UD Almería Women extended their perfect run to 6 consecutive wins with a 0-2 triumph over UD Pavía Women in the Almería derby on Matchday 7. The Rojiblancas continue to lead the standings, remaining unbeaten and drawing clear of the competition, with Atlético Ben-Namiel trailing by just one point.
In the race for promotion, UD Almería now boasts a better record than Sevilla FC B Women, the leaders of Group X in Western Andalusia. While both teams are level on points, the Indálicas hold the advantage on goal difference.
Goals courtesy from Aitana and Inés sealed the victory for UD Almería in a match that they dominated from start to finish. However, despite controlling possession, they faced a resilient defensive display from UD Pavía Women.
