0-1: UD Almería Women celebrate six-game unbeaten run

The Rojiblancas narrowly defeated Fuensalida in a very tight match in which the only goal was scored by Paqui

UD Almería Women are o a roll as they celebrate their six-game unbeaten run with five victories in six games. Spectacular results for the Rojiblancas who now only think about continuing to climb positions in the table until the end of the season.

The first half was very difficult with very few opportunities, in fact, for about twenty minutes there was plenty of play in the midfield and defensive strength prevailed in a first half without rhythm.

Then, in the second period, things changed and as soon as it kicked off, the home team had a great opportunity to take the lead with a one-on-one, but Carmen, the UD Almería goalkeeper, won the duel. Afterwards, on the rebound, the Fuensalida forward sent the ball to the crossbar. This is how the second half began.

This made the Indálicas react and in what way! since, just two minutes later, Paqui's goal arrived to open the scoring 0-1. The home team tried to equalise quickly and had a chance to do so in the 52nd minute, but that play, which had several clearances, would finally end up in the hands of Carmen.

The UD Almeria girls team knew how to hold out until the end and thus achieving their fifth victory in six games.
