0-0: Four matchdays failing to win after unlucky result for Almeria B

Almeria B need three points to secure a place in the play-offs. The homegrown players visit Torreperogil on Sunday

Almeria B could not defeat the experienced El Palo in the match played at the Anexo football ground of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, corresponding to matchday 27 of the League within the IX group of Third Division. The lack of success on the lookout for the goal took its toll on the rojiblancos, who need now three points to secure a spot in the playoffs to win promotion after four consecutive matchdays failing to win.

In the first part, the UD Almeria B team went out on the pitch determined to lead the game but had to lament the quality of their passes. The team’s fluidity was not good enough. The experienced opponents did not make things easy and they caused danger. Furthermore, El Palo struggled to break down a team that defends deep.

As time went by in the second-half, the rojiblanco team lacked shooting accuracy. It is true that El Palo created a couple of chances against our contenders, but once Nano entered the pitch, the rojiblancos were about to turn things around.
