0-0: UD Almería Women extend unbeaten streak to five games
The Rojiblancas shared the spoils with Real Murcia CF Women in a highly competitive, open match, in which they created the clearest chances, but the lack of pinpoint precision prevented them from achieving a victory. 3 clean sheets in a row
UD Almería Women extend their unbeaten streak to five games after sharing the spoils with Real Murcia CF Women (0-0). It was end to end throughout the full 90 minutes.
From the first half it was seen that the Rojiblancoas were going all out for a W, in fact, they created the clearest chances; most of them from set pieces, although without success. In the 19th minute, a great play between Carla and Carmen could have put the visitors ahead, but they were denied by a great save from the host goalie.
Real Murcia CF Women also had opportunities to take the lead. The beginning of the second half continued with a highly competitive game and as soon as the match resumed, Lucía shot from the edge of the box but the Murcia goalkeeper palmed away their efforts in two halves. As the minutes passed, the Indálicas took more and more control of the ball, although the scoreboard did not record any goals.
One of the aspects to highlight about the clash is that for the third consecutive week Pedro López's girls team kept a clean sheet. UD Almería sit eighth with 11 points and they host Ciudad de Murcia at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium on the next Matchday.
