UD Almería Women wrapped up a valuable home draw with CD Femarguín SPAR Gran Canaria Women, rivals who sit 4th in the Segunda División Nacional Women’s league in Spain.

UD Almería Women were on it from the off by showing a great defensive solidity against the powerful Canarian girls’ side. Rojiblanca Marisa was forced to withdraw due to an injury. 

In the second half, the Indalicas dropped back to block the constant attacks of the islanders. UD Almeria Women went the extra mile until the final whistle, since they were close to scoring in the last minutes through Tejedor. The attacker struck sweetly in front of the Spar Gran Canaria goalie but she forced a corner.
