‘We will have to pluck up the courage’

Romera highlights ‘the Fuenlabrada’s scintillating season’ and the need for the UD Almeria to level them, at least in intensity.

José Romera has held a press conference to talk about Sunday's game in Fuenlabrada, which he referred to as a ‘really tough match’. In fact, the defender praised the opponents by saying that ‘they are good at duels; they are playing a scintillating season that makes things more difficult because they are playing at home. On top of that they are going to pressure us and I bet that they are looking forward to beating us’.

Taking all the above into account, the right-back player considers that ‘we have to get out on the pitch and pluck up the courage in order to be able to achieve victory. We have got enough quality to bag the three points and bring them to Almeria’, he added. In any case, it will be decisive if we play more aggressively than they do’.

Although the rojiblancos are the runner-up in direct promotion, the madrileños are only three points behind. José Romera is of the opinion that it is more convenient to ‘turn the attention to the next opponent’ instead of focusing on the table. Thus, the UD Almeria footballer has mentioned ‘the classification today is a positive result, a worthy result for the supporters to cheer us, but we have to turn the attention to the next game’.
