UD Almería ready to battle and hold their lead at Anduva

The Rojiblancos are playing a tough-looking game against CD Mirandés this Sunday (kick-off 2pm Spain Time)

UD Almería are visiting CD Mirandes at the Anduva Stadium this Sunday for a 2pm kick-off (Matchday 12). The Rojiblancos will go all out for a win against tough rivals to hold their LaLiga SmartBank lead that they regained on the last Matchday.

It is being a very busy week! Both visitors UD Almeria and hosts CD Mirandes will go into the game 72 hours after their last fixture played last Thursday. That means that both sides did not have time much time to prepare for this game. All football players are worthy of a roster spot but Rubi has already announced that the priority is to play with a team of players who perform at 100% given that there are some crocked players.

CD Mirandés might have not won on home soil since Matchday 4, however they are one of the high scoring teams in the championship and the ones who score the most goals in their stadium, which will force UD Almería to maintain a solid defence.

The Rojiblancos are in good form at the moment with an even balance between offensive and defensive aspects. Despite Aitor Buñuel, Robertone, Ramazani and Juan Villar are out of action, the rest of the first-teamers took part in a final training session prior to Sunday’s game. The UD Almeria travelling squad will jetting into Vitoria at 5pm (Spain Time), where they will stay the night before heading out to Miranda de Ebro, where the match is taking place.
