UD Almeria jerseys worn against SD Eibar up for auction

UD Almería have joined, like the rest of LaLiga Clubs, the new initiative to participate in a charity auction to raise funds that will help the island of La Palma, so badly hit by the erupting volcano. The jerseys worn by players from the top flight and the second tier in the last Matchday are being auctioned.

The Rojiblancos played SD Eibar at the Ipurúa Stadium last Friday. The UD Almeria shirt worn by striker Sadiq Umar is the most valued for the time being.

The auction is virtual through the MatchWornShirt online platform, which has wide experience in this type of projects and has worked along with more than 160 football clubs across Europe, including 14 LaLiga clubs. The objective of this charitable campaign will be to achieve the highest possible amount of money through the auction of the signed football shirts of the players named in the squad lists over the next LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank Matchdays.

The campaign kicked off last Friday and will last 20 days (3 November 2021). LaLiga aims to raise awareness across the World. The participation of the LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs has been crucial to raise charitable funds for El Cabildo Insular de la Palma governing body and that will be of great help to all those affected by the volcano.
