UD Almería Genuine back to long-awaited training at last!

Almeria ‘B’ head coach Óscar Fernández visits the UD Almeria Foundation’s team who are competing on 13-14 November

UD Almería Genuine have returned to training after more than a year and a half without being able to do so due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After returning to the thick of activity last Friday, 1 October, the Foundation’s squad members took part in a long-awaited training session, although this time in the company of UD Almeria ‘B’ head coach Óscar Fernández, who described the experience as ‘very gratifying’ for having the great opportunity to share in first person the joy and burning enthusiasm of the players from Almeria for wearing the red and white shirts.

UD Almería Genuine are preparing themselves for the first weekend of LaLiga Genuine Santander action, a championship that will have Tarragona as its first hosting city in Catalonia on 13-14 November.

‘We don't realise what life is about so that living moments like this makes you value things more. It’s been an unforgettable experience so now many people are able to come and have a great time again. I've had a whale of a time,’ explained Óscar Fernández after sharing the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium with the talented members of the UDA Foundation.
