UD Almería fully focused on Friday's encounter vs AD Alcorcón

The Rojiblancos are exercising in the Stadium. Buñuel, knee sprain. Makaridze back to training

UD Almería are now fully focused on Friday’s encounter versus AD Alcorcon at the Santo Domingo Stadium in Madrid (kick-off 9pm Spain Time/ Matchday 6). It will be the second away fixture in a row for the Rojiblancos who visited SD Ponferradina last Sunday.  The squad members trained in the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium and they will do so again behind closed doors to work on the tactics for the next game. After defeats to SD Amorebieta and SD Ponferradina, UD Almería are now determined to win their third away game this season.

The UD Almeria first-team footballers played last Sunday in North Spain and in just 3 days they will be taking on tough rivals again this Friday in Madrid, so they had a short time to recover and prepare for the forthcoming game. In fact, the players returned from Ponferrada last Monday and they will have to get back on the plane this Friday. Once in Madrid, they will be playing AD Alcorcón at 9pm (Spain Time).

With regard to the UD Almeria injuries and suspensions news… Aitor Buñuel, injured at El Toralín, will be out of action as well as Juan Villar. The right-back has to come off the pitch in the first half; he is suffering a sprained knee. Keeper Makaridze, who had some discomfort, got back on the grass, while Carriço is still nursing a muscle injury. Iván Martos, who has served a one-game ban, is up for grabs again.
