The wait is really over for Almería Women!

The Rojiblancas begin their 3rd consecutive campaign competing in Primera Nacional with the visit of Olympia Las Rozas on Sunday (kick-off 11am)

Almeria Women are ready to go again for a new season (2021/22) within Primera Nacional (Group IV) this Sunday, which for the Indálicas will be the third campaign in a row. Olympia Las Rozas will be visiting the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium for an 11am kick-off.

The players led by head coach Agustín Sánchez carried out an intense pre-season facing both Liga Reto and Primera Nacional rivals in order to go into Matchday 1 in the best possible shape.

UD Almeria Women skipper Anita Paris highlighted during a friendly chat with the Club’s official media that all the girls ‘can’t wait to start competing,’ and thus, the midfielder added: ‘We’ve played quite a few games and the new players have adapted very well.’

There is currently a limit on friends and family attendance at these fixtures, so a total of 100 spectators will be granted access at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium for the match versus Olympia Las Rozas. As a result, the doors will open one hour before the kick-off (10am) allowing free entry until all the seats are occupied. ‘I encourage everyone to come because with them, we’ll be stronger,’ stressed Anita Paris.

The attendees must wear a face mask at all times and they will not be able to eat or drink.  In addition, families and friends must remain seated keeping safe distances to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

On the other hand, a broadcast of the live official match will be streamed over the official UD Almería Women Twitter.
